Here’s a fresh take on the whole Valentine day thing for your bestie. All this took was a simple tote bag, some fabric paint and a foam brush. We let it dry and used Wunder Under + Felt to create the letters. So easy, and so much more useful than a box of chocolates. Come in if you want to make it🙂
There are all sorts of cool lessons for kids there beyond the basics. Now after school your kid can brush up on their acting, learn how to rock out in a rock band, cooking, sewing (wink wink) and now learn photography from the internationally acclaimed photographer Barbara Salinas. Check out her site and look at her drool worthy pictures.
I never get tired of decorating the moleskines. The truth is that it’s the quickest way to get a “quick craft fix.” Easy enough for any age to do and I can not think of anyone from age 2 – 99 who does not appreciate a great notebook to scribble in. Here is my “Spring come now!” version.
This was such a fun project. Been spying lots of variations on this hydrangea felt flowers. My hands were itching to give it a whirl. After two or three tries I finally got it somewhere close to where I was happy with it. The only thing that I would maybe change is to use one or two less flowers. I just drew a simple four petal flower and traced it on some Heather Bailey felt. Then starting from the inside out sewed them down on a felt circle with a tiny baby bead.
The sparkly stretch band is a great final touch.
A pretty pillow gets whipped up in our craft & play section. Too cute.
This a great little pattern from the Martha studio. I had seen it a while back and thought it would be good project to show off a little heart. In a class with three girls we gave the pattern a spin. The result is an adorable bag that is perfect size for quickly running out of the house. The extra bonus is that the cutie is completely reversible.
Hey everyone! So I’ve got a couple of AWESOME songs everyone should check out. They are all brand new and are perfect for the rainy/snowy weather outside. Also some of the best music videos out there🙂
1. Cameo Lover – Kimbra
2. When I’m Small – Phantogram
3. No Light No Light – Florence & The Machine
4. 1957- Milo Greene
5. Holocene – Bon Iver (fangirling!!!)
Another tee that got “pimped out” with our kit. Having everything set out in front of you makes it a really fun and quick project. The perfect way to get a quick craft fix and awesome tee.
These two cuties are proof that size has nothing to do with sewing ability. Barely able to reach the pedal, they showed so much determination and were able to finish up these pretty little Best Friend cases.
