Sewing for a Cause

A while ago I became involved with a wonderful organization, Vitas.  They provide hospice care around the country.  The local office here in Fairfield has a program of providing stuffed animals for family member of their patients.  They desperately need sewers so if you would love to get involved, please contact us here at the store.

This was one of the first projects that I sewed for a family.  I used a pattern from Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts from Joelle Hoverson.

It was quick and easy and was happy to see my little chubby guy go to a great cause.
