Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros is just one of those bands that makes you smile no matter what song you listen to. With their debut album released about 2 years ago, they jumped to the top of the charts for all indie listeners out there. With 10 people in their band, each song they record becomes insanely unique and beautiful. They just released their second studio album called “Here” and it is fantastic. Here’s a music video of “Man On Fire”.
One of my favorite parts of the new store is the Jewelry wall. Basically a wall filled with 15+ bracelets and necklaces that act as inspiration for customers to create on their own. A fun and easy project that we added to the wall is a selection of cabochons, felt flowers and velvet bows that can be matched up with either a button bracelet, hair clip, ring or earrings.
My Favorites are the little bows
I think we all need a pair of button earrings.

My dear friend and local artist Laura came in with a specific project in mind (check out the site full of her great art). She recently got a little puppy and like any loving pet owner takes the said pooch on a daily walk along the beach. The thing is this… When the little girl does her bit, the “results” get picked up by the little scented baggie. However, her master and keeper does not really want to look at the wreckage in a see-thru bag until the next garbage presents itself.
Solution. This pretty bag that is made out of laminate so that no one will be any the wiser about it’s contents.
Oui oui c’est tres practique!
Printed out the label on fabric paper and sewed on to two rectangles @ 8.5 x 21.
Pristine and practical.
