A great new addition to our new space is our jewelry wall. A dozen bracelets and necklaces that as examples for young and old to come and make. I am naming all of the pieces after the girls that inspire them. This is the “Sophie” inspired by our new sweet and smart and beautiful intern.
We are going to have a vintage typewriter in place so girls can write a secret mantra to place in their bottle. I added the feather and turquoise drop bead for an extra dose of hippie-boho goodness.
I know, I know. It’s Mother Day coming up and we should be concentrating on all those rockin’ moms out there. However, today I had a Make and Mingle regular come in wanting to get a head start on her Father’s day project. BTW, she is making something fab for her beautiful mom – but mums the word until the project is finished.
We found the pattern online for free here, and were able to do the whole thing from beginning to end in just over an hour. The best thing is that we just needed one yard of fabric.
