Gettin’ pretty for the New Year
Some positive words to lead a girl into the New Year…
New Year’s Resolutions a la Gaga
This last week we have a been having our share of cousins and sisters coming as they are enjoying the holidays together. This group of sisters and cousins made some zippered pouches with a positive message from Ms. Gaga – “Don’t be a drag, just be a queen.”
Gotta admit those are some pretty good words.
Crafty Sisterhood
Two sisters walked into the store today and created two different yet equally adorable projects…
The young sis crafted an adorable lampshade made with mod podge and a lot of circle cutting action
The older sis sewed an awesome bubble skirt that goes perfectly well with some leggings and boots

The New Kit on the Block
A new M&M student came in today wanting to make a little deer. We sat, we planned, and we sewed. And we came up with this insanely adorable creature.
Obviously, we have to make more. She will be a new Make & Mingle kit to assemble at home.
True desperately needs one…

Vrooom!
Ok, so obviously we got a handle on cute here at M&M. We can do pink, we can do fabric flowers, flouncy skirts and adorable owls. However putting together a present for a grown man is a challenge. Obviously a challenge we are up to. This little sewing maven with the help of Tessa put together this super handsome monogrammed keychain for her dads Molto Fast Ferrari keys.

A Trilogy of Cuteness
These sisters have been coming for a while to Make and Mingle and every time they come I know I am in for a super dose of sweetness. Today they wanted to make pouches (zippered and drawstring). Each girl put her own special spin on the project and as you can see the results are fab. Tots adorbs!
I think I have to copy her idea here and make some of these with a map of Westport, Fairfield & Co.
