This week’s band is truly a gem! I found out about this band while listening to NPR and immediately looked up the lyrics to find The Head and the Heart, a band from the UK. This six-person pack originated from a small pub in London and slowly started writing their own songs. Last winter, they released their self titled album which is pure magic. This track is called Lost in my Mind. Enjoy! And remember to support indie artists

My very good friend was just visiting me from Paris and came with a whole bunch of sweet goodies in tow. Included were two delicious treats from the famed pastry house Laduree. One of them was the most beautiful bag of candied lavendar, each crystalized morsel basically melted in my mouth.
It turns out that all the beautiful cakes from the recent film come from this acclaimed house of pastry. I am now again super obsessed with everything with an air of Madame Antionette! I am sure the store will be filled with crafts and finished items to reflect the obsession…
