Last week I had a an impromptu lesson with super special customer, Roxanne Faber Savage . Roxanne came in with gorgeous layers of silk that she had silkscreened and was looking for a little help to sew the layers together. I instantly fell in love with her art , and look forward to seeing more more more. Here is her website and a few of my faves.
The monster dolls is one of the most popular crafts in the kids section of our Ready-to-Make part of the store. Needless to say since we opened I have seen some pretty cute and outrageous dolls walk out the door. What always surprises me is how the kids always come up with something new. This was a recent fave….

I’ve seen these in tons of cute little shops for big bucks. Never even thought of making them. This great tutorial from jonesdesigncompany shows us just how easy the project is. Make one for you and your best bud.
