This is one of my favorite projects that got at the store. Probably because it combines those personalized metal disks that are everywhere with fabric. You can get one personalized with any name or word that you desire, then pick your fabric for a truly custom piece of jewelry. I was thinking it would also be cute to sew on a few vintage buttons for a little bohemian flair. Love it!
This is an adorable pattern that I found on Ithinksew. Once you get the hang of it, they can be made in no time. I can’t imagine a more adorable present for any little babe. The flowers could be used to adorn everything from headbands to flip flops for us bigger girls.
We just got some new Amy Butler patterns in. One of my faves is this super versatile Mini-Dress pattern. First the pattern will makes the dress in all sizes for little girls to grown-ups. Then, you also can choose the length. So you can make either a top or a longer tunic like length to wear over leggings or jeans. The perfect little piece to move you into spring!
C’mon I super dare you to say this little guy is not the cutest thing this side of the Atlantic. The best thing is that the pattern is free from Amy Butler. With just a little bit of fabric you could whip up this instant Bud in no time.
2011 has been an amazing year for indie/songwriter artists so far. Albums have been dropping left and right, and magazines like spin and under the radar have been so very busy reviewing albums here and there. One of my favorite new albums that came out last week is by a band called Tame Impala who are absolutely fabulous! Here is, in my opinion, their best track on the record. Enjoy!
Solitude Is Bliss – Tame Impala
I know I have to stop it with the hearts already. Just this last one, I promise. The heart is made from my new favorite fabric from Jennifer Paganelli’s Queen street collection.
On the subject of onesies, here is a super adorable one that a customer embroidered. She is super mad talented and free-handed the cute owl. Lovin’ it!
